Devil's Rock

Devil's Rock is located in Largo, which is about an hour North of Raleigh between 401 and US 1.
The rock itself can be found in a field off of State Road 1131. Once you reach SR 1131, look for a sign that says Devil's Rock hanging off a mailbox on the left.
Devil's Rock is on Private Property — The land is owned by a very nice man named Mr. Harris who is generally obliging, but please ask permission before walking across his property.

Devil's Rock

Devil's rock contains the footprint of the Prince of Darkness himself. Located off State Road 1131 in Largo, the footprint is slightly larger than human size and imprinted deep in the rock.

Or at least it used to be. Unfortunately, the rock was severely damaged when the Department of Transportation dynamited most of it to build a new road, so unfortunately there's very little left to see.

Interestingly, there's reportedly a twin footprint in a rock in South Carolina. Since both footprints are human-sized, this means the Devil must be incredibly spindly-legged.
